New Family Checklist
Prior to commencement, you must: –
- Provide a current Immunization History Statement from Medicare Australia (can be accessed through your MyGov account)
- Access Centrelink through your MyGov account to apply the Childcare Subsidy by completing the Activity Test and accepting CWA (Complying Written Agreement) for enrolment at Country Kidz Pre School.
Complete the following: –
- Enrolment Form
- Direct Debit Request Form
- Photographic and Video Consent Form
- ‘AII About Me’ background information form assists us to prepare for your child’s first few weeks with us
- (AII of the above forms are contained within the enrolment packs)
Download Xplor app (Country Kidz Pre School will send invite to your email account upon acceptation of place).
- After downloading Xplor app, your CWA (Complying Written Agreement) also needs to be confirmed within app (instructions included in enrolment packs).
- Confirm orientation visits with Centre Director.
- Pay $100 deposit (account details which deposit is to be paid into can be obtained from director).
Things to be arranged prior to Child’s first day: –
Please remember to label all items that belong to your child
- Full change of clothing including socks, underwear, top, jumper and pants/dress. Coat/jacket suitable for changing weather
- Comfort toy (if applicable)
- Dummy (if required — must have cap or be stored in small, lidded container)
- Suitable shoes for your child to protect your child’s feet when playing outside.
- (During wet weather, we recommend gum boots for outdoors and slippers to change into when returning inside)
- A drink bottle or sipper cup for water
- Bottles (if required — prepared, named, and capped ready to heat). Please place these in the Babies Room fridge each day on arrival.
- Nappies will be provided in our center.
Building Partnerships with Educators and the Centre
- Ensure educators are informed of your child’s wellbeing at each drop off.
- Ensure any requests for documentation and signatures is actioned in a timely manner
- Raise any questions in relation to the educational program and the care being provided in the room with a permanent staff member.
- Raise any questions or concerns with Centre Director at any time — the Centre Director can be contacted on 53681665 or a pop in is always welcomed.
- Read Newsletters
- Support special days (PJ, Halloween etc.)
Centre Policies and Procedures can be in the Centre foyer. Please feel free to access and request copies from the Centre Director.
